Welcome to Built Local, a company proudly established and thriving in small town New Zealand. Let me share with you how Built Local came to be, and the value that our name will offer you when you choose our team to build your new home.

Based in Te Aroha, Built Local was founded, not long after we realized we could offer more than what the larger housing companies were doing in the Waikato.

We showed our home owners the benefits of an intimate small town building experience. That is a better client relationship through communication and a faster build time, all without compromising on quality.

We are passionate about building and our desire was to eliminate stress and to have our clients building experience to be fun and enjoyable, the same as it is for us when we build their new home. We also wanted to show them that building locally is our guarantee – that we will stand behind each build – after all -they could be our neighbours!

We quickly found this personal approach and creating personal connections, showing that we care, was the key to our success. The ideology of trust and communication is our foundation and something we take pride in.

Our team has now grown and with that we have grown our company. With more than a combined total of 60+ years building experience among us, each team member has been recruited with our values in mind.  We have developed company processes around these values that now allow us to replicate the intimate small town building experience of having a home built by Built Local anywhere in the Greater Waikato.
